Abstract

As to the results of the State Variety Test (2001 – 2007) three hybrids of winter rye bred in the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya Yuriev entered the State Variety List of Ukraine.
In this connection there was studied a relationship of heterosis expression on regulating environment factors and choice of optimal variants for their cultivation technologies. It was established that the most expedient method for the production of winter rye hybrid seeds by means of growing a mechanical mixture of the parental components should have been 7 – 10 % of the pollinator in the mechanical mixture
