Abstract

There are presented the results of researches and the ways of selection work by the creation and the study of the millet varieties. The millet  varieties Vitrylo and Yuvileyne have been sent to the State Variety Test. The selection effectiveness for a higher yield, grain quality, groats and resistance to diseases is proved. The high yield  variety Vitrylo  has entered State Variety List in Steppe of Ukraine since 2008
