Abstract

In the article the results from the study dealt with the effect of vegetation period duration by the date of earing on grain yield of winter wheat varieties are shown, it is established that the creation of the varieties combining early maturity in them with high yield is possible owing to a longer earing – matura-tion period at the cost of an accelerated passing of tillering – earing phase
