Abstract

The results of studying resistance to unfavourable winter and spring conditions three introduced and 37 sour-cherry cultivars having been selected in the Institute of Irrigated Horticulture named after M.F.Sydorenko NAAS for the period of 2004-2010 in the South steppe of Ukraine. On the basis of winter and spring frosts resistance the Prymitna,Shalunia, Rassvet, Iskushenie, Vstrecha, Vdohnovenie, Fermerskaya; which have been singled out as sources of these properties in selecting. It was established the average correlation be-tween productivityand frostening of flowers after the spring frosts
