Abstract

Changeability of intensity of seed germination varieties and lines of winter wheat due to hydrothermal soil and air regime was tested under field and laboratory conditions. Negative influence of low or high soil moisture in com-plex with critic air temperature was revealed and character of different geno-types reactions on it was showed up. Under decreased temperatures varietals difference of seed germination became leveled. Directed selection in the first group of seed growing can improve index of seed germination intensity under moisture deficit in selection lines N-2
