Abstract

The paper presents main directions and results of the investigations conducted during 2006-2010 year period within the frame of the scientific-technical program of NAAS «Oil crop» (the task «Sunflower breeding and seed production»). High actuality, efficacy of elaborations and prospects for further development of sunflower breeding in Ukraine has been shown. Mutual investigations of the institutions – co-executors connected with the task are aimed at increasing of Ukrainian sunflower hybrids competitiveness
