The efficiency of the creation of spring barley lines possessing a high content of amylopectin in starch and the complex of selected and economic traits in consequence of the combinations in the systems of diallelis crosses and topcrosses have been shown. As a result in 2011 y. 40 lines were selected with the starch consisting of 100 % of amylopectin, as well as, 313 lines and 684 plants possessing different fractional composition of starch for the pur- pose of breeding .
