Генетичне різноманіття спельти озимої за господарськими ознаками в умовах східної частини Лісостепу України

Abstract

The results of evaluation of winter spelta genepool samples of different ecologo-geographical origin on the yield and its components, characteristics of spike and plants morphology, the duration of the growing season, resistance to diseases in the eastern part of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. Morphological features, which correlates with productivity, are defined. A significant economic potential of the studied material, its promise for production is highlighted and breeding directions are defined: to the hull- less trait, resistance to ear breakage and lodging. The standard variety for winter spelta is selected - Frankenkorn (Austria), as well as a number of  forms that combine a set of economic and biological characteristics and are  of breeding value
