Abstract

The article presents the results of tests of sunflower hybrids for resistance to the phomopsis agent, yield and duration of the growing season under the conditions of natural infectious background of Volchansk state variety research station in 2006- 2012 years. Fluctuations in productivity and intensity of the disease, depending on the weather conditions of the year were described. Hybrids with stable resistance to pho- mopsis agent combined with valuable economic sign were revealed
