Abstract

The article presents the results of researches of 2010-2011 years in examina- tion of basic material for selection of sunflower hybrids created at V.Ya.Yuriev Plant Production Institute for resistance to flowering pests – broomrape (Orobanche cumana Wallr.). Race structure of broomrape popularization was studied, its seeds were gathered while seeding of local breed in Amvrosievka district Donetsk region. Sterility line-fixers resistant to new broomrape races were defined
