Handling Complaints and Appeals from Authors

Authors of rejected manuscripts may request a formal review of editorial decisions if they disagree with the comments provided by reviewers and/or the editor. Such requests must be supported by sound arguments based on evidential data and logical reasoning. The Editor-in-Chief shall discuss the appeal with other scientific editors (Editorial Board members) and may decide to send the rejected manuscript to new reviewers for further evaluation.

If authors disagree with how their request was handled by the Editor-in-Chief, they may address their concerns to other responsible editors or members of the Editorial Board. The final decision regarding an appeal is made by the Editorial Board, taking into account the conclusions of independent experts who have not been previously involved in the review of the manuscript in question.
