Abstract

Vrn-А1а and Vrn-В1a genes effects were characterized on a number of agronomic traits in near isogenic lines of durum wheat cultivar Kristall 2 under various sowing dates (October, February and April). Analogs of alternative type are being created (Vrn-В1a gene) in backgrounds of modern winter durum wheat cultivars. Preliminary results of winter hardiness, frost resistance and yield study are represented for some of them
